Junior / Low Impact Paintball
Revolutionary new manufacturing processes now mean that a paintball can be made smaller, travel just as far as a standard paintball, but now they also burst on impact.

This new smaller paintball is around 1/3 the size of a standard paintball and so hits with around 1/3 of the force, as a result we can now offer paintball games to juniors as young as 10 years old.

We play "Low Impact" in exactly the same game areas, each player wears exactly the same kit as standard paintball, the paintballs travel just as fast and fly just as far as a standard paintball, but with only 1/3 if the impact, these games are suitable for kids down to 10 years old, perfect for hen parties, or any group who is a little bit worried about being hit by a paintball.

The guns are slightly smaller than normal and we have fitted air bottles that are only 1/4 the size of our standard paintball equipment, this means that even the smallest of people can easily play.

The "Low Impact" paintball sessions last for 2 1/2 hours (10am - 12:30pm or 1:30pm - 4:00pm). Minimum group size is 8 participants.

Junior paintball is proving to be very very popular, especially with birthday parties, numbers are restricted so please book well in advance to avoid disappointment

Please note that ALL players who are under 16 years of age must have a parental consent form completed before participation. Junior consent forms can be downloaded HERE or alternatively, please call and we can post them out.

Paintball Guns
Paintball Guns are the means used to propel the paintball itself towards the target, or the other player within the game. There can be hundreds of paintball guns in the game at any one time, it all depends on the number of people playing. Each player is issued with an Inferno paintball gun. These guns are sometimes referred to as Paintball markers.

Paintballing
Paintballing is the term given to the sport or pastime, it is a common term used by people. So the phrase, we are going paintballing, can be used just as well as the term, we are going to play paintball. Within the sport itself, it is more usual for players just to say, are you playing this weekend. This suggests that paintball is all there is in the world and to serious players, there is nothing else in the world. Paintball then becomes a way of life, rather than just a pastime or hobby.

Paint Ball
Paint Ball is a term used by people who don't really know much about Paint Ball. Paintball the game is all one word, it isn't split into two words however mums looking into a paintballing activity for their kids use this term. I believe that a Paint Ball is a type of pen.

Paintball UK
Paintball UK is the overall term for the sport of paintball played in the United Kingdom. There are many paintball sites in the UK, one of the best to book a days paintball is
the paintball people who have sited all over the UK. There are some excellent sites in London and the South West, but the best sites on average are in the Yorkshire area. We like to think that we up the average, and in actual fact, we probably do.

Paintball and Paintballing in Bawtry.
Bawtry is very close to the town of Doncaster in South Yorkshire. The Yorkshire Paintball Centre is around 30 minutes from Bawtry and well worth the trip. The best way to get to us is to either come up the A1, then take the M62 and A19, or alternatively you could just come through Doncaster town centre and carry on up the A19.

Paintball and Paintballing in Bradford
There are no really good paintball sites in Bradford. So for a really good days paintballing you need to visit us in York. We arn't as far away as you might think and you can easily reach us in around 40 minutes. That's definitely worth it for a great days paintballing. From Bradford, just get onto the M62 and then take the A19 North.

Paintball and Paintballing in Bridlington
We are around 1 hour from Bridlington and definately the closest, good, paintball centre. The best way to get to us from Bridlington is to head towards York, then take the A64 towards Leeds. At the designed outlet roundabout, take the A19 towards Selby.

Paintball and Paintballing in Doncaster
Paintballing in Doncaster could not be easier. We are only about 20 minutes from Doncaster town Centre and are the closest paintball centre to Doncaster. Simply take the A19 North, through Selby and towards York. We are just off the A19. I am surprised that no one has ever set up a really good paintballing centre in Doncaster as I think it would do well.

Paintball and Paintballing in Halifax
Halifax hasn't ever really had a good paintballing centre. A few have tried, but I suspect that the terrain around the Halifax area has hindered the building of a really good pantball venue, it's very hilly. On a positive note, the Yorkshire Paintball Centre is very easy to get to from Halifax. Just take the M62 until you reach the A19, then follow the A19 North, through Selby.

Paintball and Paintballing in Harrogate
Harrogate is only a stones throw away from York, so the people wanting to play paintball in Harrogate are very lucky to have a superb paintballing venue just on their doorstep. From Harrogate town Centre, take the A59 towards York. You can then either continue on the A59, or turn onto the A1 and then A64. The choice is yours, but only expect around a 25 minute journey.

Paintball and Paintballing in Huddersfield
Paintballing in Huddersfield has been difficult in the past for the same reasons as Halifax. There has never been a good paintball venue there, possibly due to the steep terain. Remember that playing paintball on hillsides has one or two more risks involved than just being hit by a paintball traveling at 250 feet per second. So from Huddersfield, take the M62 until you get to the A19 junction, then follow the A19 North, through Selby.

Paintball and Paintballing in Hull
Paintballing in Hull actually has a history. There used to be around 4 paintball sites in Hull, including an indoor. If you are wanting to play paintball and you are from Hull, then you are in luck. Years ago, the government built a huge road directly into the centre of Hull, that was when Hull had an industry mind. So now there is a very quiet, huge road called the M62 that goes directly into Hull town centre. The great thing is that Hull is only 40 minutes from the Yorkshire Paintball Centre making the trip very easy.

Paintball and Paintballing in Leeds
Paintballing in Leeds itself is almost impossible. It's all built up, so the tiny paintball sites that are around the Leeds immediate area are lacking to say the least. We are only 25 minutes from Leeds town centre, so for people looking for Paintball in Leeds, you are in luck. Just take the new M1 link road, onto the A64 and you are half way to us. If you are from Leeds and want to play paintball, look no further than the Yorkshire Paintball Centre.

Paintball and Paintballing in Scarborough
You would have thought that Scarborough would have had a few paintballing centres, especially when you consider how busy it is in the summer months. But there arn't any. It's a good thing that the Yorkshire Paintball Centre is only 40 minutes from Scarborough town centre. It's probably for this reason that we get a lot of people playing paintball from the Scarborough area.

Paintball and Paintballing in Scunthorpe
Scunthorpe and paintball maybe don't at first strike you as a match made in heaven, but not far from Scunthorpe is a certain Yorkshire Paintball Centre. Only 30 minutes apart, that means that you set off at 9:30am and you are on site by 10am. Paintballing in Scunthorpe just got accessible.

Paintball and Paintballing in Selby
The Yorkshire Paintball Centre is based in Selby. If you don't know that we are here, where have you been for the last 22 years. It has been said that we are the only real attraction in the Selby area. I have to agree.

Paintball and Paintballing in Sheffield
Sheffield is the furthest that we market the Yorkshire Paintball Centre. There are a few paintball venues in Sheffield, but non are as good as us. Sheffield is arouns 1 hour away but it is fairly easy to find us. Straight up the M1, onto the A64, then A19.

Paintball and Paintballing in Wakefield
Wakefield paintball and the surrounding area have a couple of sites. But the wakefield paintball area stretches right over to Ferrybridge which is only 20 minutes from Yorkshire Paintball. So depending on where you are in the Wakefield area, we can be as little as 20 mins, but as much as 50 mins away.

Paintball and Paintballing in Whitby
Whitby is around 40 minutes away from Yorkshire Paintball. Not much more to say other than you can get to us via Garrowby Hill which is a mega steep hill and not to be attempted in the snow and ice.

Paintball and Paintballing in York
Paintball York is what the Yorkshire Paintball Centre is known as. The majority of our paintball players come from York and the surrounding town. We are situated 6 miles South of York, just off the A19. We have been paintballing in York for almost 22 years and have always been the place to play paintball.

Paintball and Paintballing in Yorkshire
The Yorkshire Paintball Centre is just as it says on the Tin. We are based in the Centre of Yorkshire, just off the A19. Selby seems to be a strange place within Yorkshire, but if you were to put a big paintball splat in the centre of North, South and West yorkshire, the chances are the centre pf the paint splat would be the entrance to the Yorkshire Paintball Centre
