What Is the 1989 Club?
The 1989 Club is a special paintball walkon event held at the Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park on the last Sunday of every month. Named after the year of our first walkon event, the event is open to players of all ages (12+) and skill levels. You don’t need to be a member of the club to participate, and you can simply “walk on” and join the games! The 1989 Club is perfect for meeting new friends, trying out different paintball game types, and improving your skills in a fun and challenging environment.
Unique Rules of the 1989 Club
What sets the 1989 Club apart from other paintball walkons are its unique rules, designed to level the playing field and create a thrilling experience for all players. To find out more, please visit the facebook page.
Pistol, Pump or Magfed Only
Players can use pistols, pump-action or magfed paintball guns without restrictions. All other paintball guns must have a 50 round gravity-fed hopper fitted.
150 Paintballs Per Game Max
To make the games more challenging, players can only use a maximum of 150 paintballs per game.
The 20 Paintball Game
In one of the 1989 Club’s special games, players are only allowed to use 20 paintballs. This game encourages strategy, precision, and teamwork.
Rate of Fire
We have no need for a rate of fire cap, the gravity fed hoppers take care of that for us.
Chrono limit is strictly 280fps maximum.
Don’t be a dick
The great thing about being a club is the fact that it’s a club and isn’t a money making venture. This means if someone spoils things for everyone, then they will never be allowed to play again. So play fair, have respect and play by the rules.
