What to Compare Before Buying
- Lens diameter: Match the stated 62 mm size with your lens cap thread size.
- Lens model: Check the exact Tamron lens model against the compatibility list.
- Cap style: A centre pinch cap is a practical choice when you want to fit and remove the cover from the front of the lens.
- Finish: If appearance matters, this version is black.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
This cap is intended for a 62 mm lens opening and is associated with the Tamron AF 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC All-in-One lens. The description also names two other Tamron 18-200mm zoom lenses. Because lens caps depend on the exact front thread size, the safest check is to match both the lens model and the 62 mm size before choosing a cap.
What Else You May Need
The cap includes a leash, which is intended to be glued to the surface of a camera lens cover so the cap can be kept attached when in use. Check that you are happy to use the leash in that way before fitting it.
Before You Decide
Confirm the exact Tamron lens model and the 62 mm size before choosing this cap. If your lens uses a different front thread size, you will need a different cap. Also check whether you want a snap-on centre pinch style and whether the leash arrangement suits your setup.
