What to Compare Before Buying
- Measurement length: This mat measures up to 100 cm, so compare that with the size of the fish you usually handle.
- Units: The dual cm and inch scales are useful if you want to record catches in either format.
- Portability: The foldable design and stated 600 g weight matter if you plan to carry it in a fishing bag, suitcase or kayak.
- Handling method: If you need lifting or weighing support, check that the handle and base layout suits the way you work at the bank or shore.
How It Works
Lay the mat out, place the fish on the measuring surface, and use the printed scales to read the length. The bump board and tape measure give you two ways to judge size. The handles and wide base are there to support lifting and weighing as part of the same setup.
Before You Decide
Check the 100 cm measuring length, the foldable format and the stated 600 g weight before choosing an offer. If you want a mat for measuring and handling fish in one portable item, those are the main points to confirm.
