What to Compare Before Buying
- Length: This sling is described as just over 1 metre long. Check that size against the fish you expect to handle.
- Measuring scale: It includes both inches and centimetres, so compare that with the format you prefer for measuring.
- Folding size: It is made to pack down smaller, so consider the space available in your tackle bag or carry box.
- Carrying and lifting: The handle is part of the design, so check whether that suits how you want to move fish onto scales.
- Catch support: The mesh pockets and top-side mesh are intended to help support the catch and let water drain away during weighing.
Choosing the Correct Version
This is a folding fish unhooking mat and weigh sling with an integrated ruler. If you want a simple measuring and weighing aid rather than a plain mat, this combined format is the key detail to check before choosing an offer.
Before You Decide
Confirm the length, folding format and built-in ruler before you choose. If you need a larger handling surface or a different style of weighing sling, compare the exact size and design carefully. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use and fish handling.
