Quick Summary
Dark Souls™: The Board Game – The Sunless City Core Set is a cooperative dungeon crawl board game for 1-3 players. It is described as a new core game that reimagines the original Dark Souls: The Board Game experience with refreshed rules, a new campaign and encounter system.
The set focuses on the first Dark Souls video game and is aimed at buyers who want a tabletop version built around that setting. If player count matters, check that 1-3 players matches the number of people who will be playing.
What to Compare Before Buying
- Player count: This set is for 1-3 players, so compare that with your usual gaming group size.
- Game style: It is a cooperative dungeon crawl, which means players work together rather than compete against each other.
- Core game format: It is presented as a core set, so check whether you want a complete starting point for this version of the game.
- Theme: The game centres on the first Dark Souls video game, so the setting matters if you want a different part of the series.
Before You Decide
Confirm the 1-3 player count, the cooperative format and the Sunless City core set identity before choosing an offer. If you want a game based on a different Dark Souls setting, this version is focused on the first game rather than the wider series.
