What to Compare Before Buying
- Lawn size: The stated coverage is up to 1/4 acre, so compare that with your actual lawn area.
- Layout: Narrow paths and irregular borders matter because the mower is described as working through slim 0.8 m passages.
- Edge finishing: Smart edge mowing and the built-in trimmer are useful if border trimming matters on your lawn.
- Control and zoning: App control supports custom zones and no-go areas, which is worth checking if your garden has restricted sections.
- Obstacle presence: AI obstacle avoidance is part of the product, so think about how many objects sit within the mowing area.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
This mower is aimed at lawns rather than a one-size-fits-all garden layout. The key fit checks are the lawn area, the width of any narrow passages and whether the border style suits edge mowing. If your garden has highly complex corners, narrow gaps or raised edges, occasional manual trimming is stated as still being needed.
Common Buyer Questions
Does it need a perimeter wire?
No. It is described as wire-free and does not require a perimeter wire or RTK antenna.
Can I set mowing zones?
Yes. The app is described as allowing mowing zones, schedules and no-go areas.
Will it replace all manual trimming?
It includes built-in edge trimming, but highly complex corners, narrow gaps or raised edges may still need occasional manual trimming.
Before You Decide
Check that your lawn size sits within the stated 1/4 acre coverage, that narrow routes are wide enough for the 0.8 m passage figure, and that the border shape suits smart edge mowing. If your garden has tight corners or raised edges, allow for some manual finishing.
