What This Product Is Used For

People choose this type of speaker when they want a simple mounted audio solution for indoor or outdoor listening.

Real World Performance and Day to Day Use
In day to day use, this Herdio speaker pair is intended for wired listening where a mounted installation is preferred. The product description states that it is a passive outdoor speaker set and that it does not include a power adapter, so buyers can plan for that from the start. It also states that the speakers are waterproof and weatherproof, with heavy duty moulded ABS enclosures, which helps reduce worry about using them in areas with water splashing around.
Choose this if you want a mounted speaker pair for patio, boat, garage or indoor use. Skip this if you want a ready to play portable speaker with built in power.
Why We Like This Product
The YPC Team likes this because it offers a simple mounted speaker solution with weather resistant details and flexible positioning. It helps avoid the mistake of choosing a portable speaker for a fixed space, and avoids the regret of buying a setup that is not suitable for wall or ceiling installation.
