Quick Summary
The IDEAL Race Across the World Board Game is a globe-trotting family adventure game for 2-6 players aged 8+. It is based on the hit BBC TV show Race Across the World and centres on racing and challenging other players as you try to reach the finish line.
The game also includes jobs that players complete to earn money, which then has to be paid out along the way. That makes the balance between speed, route choices and spending part of the game experience.
What to Compare Before Buying
- Player count: This game is for 2-6 players, so check that it matches the number of people who will usually play.
- Age guidance: It is marked for age 8+, so it is worth checking whether that suits the intended players.
- Theme: The game is based on Race Across the World, so it may appeal most to buyers who want a TV tie-in adventure game.
- Game style: The money-earning and pay-your-way setup suggests a race game with challenge elements rather than a simple roll-and-move format.
Before You Decide
Check the player count and age guidance first, then make sure the travel-and-challenge theme is the right fit for your group. If you want a game tied to Race Across the World, this one is built around that idea.
