How It Works
- Connect the appropriate end to your device.
- Use it as a plug and play flash drive, with no drive required.
- If transferring files larger than 4 GB, use exFAT or NTFS rather than FAT32.
- If you are using it with a smartphone or tablet, confirm the device’s OTG function is supported or unlocked.
- If it does not work well, reformat the flash drive to FAT32 only where that format is required for recognition by smartphones and tablets.
Real World Use
This flash drive is positioned as a portable storage and transfer tool for moving digital data between phones, tablets and computers. The stated USB C compatibility and dual connectors make it useful when you want to share files without relying on cloud services.
The description also links it to everyday use such as storing and transferring media, including when taking movies or pictures on holiday. That makes the stated capacity and file format note especially important if your files include larger items.
What To Know Before You Buy
Check that your device supports OTG before ordering, especially if you plan to use it with a smartphone or tablet. Review the file format note as well, because FAT32 only transfers files smaller than 4 GB and larger files need exFAT or NTFS.
