What to Compare Before Buying
- Resolution: The stated 8K and 96MP figures are the headline image-quality claims. Compare them with the level of detail you expect from the camera.
- Zoom type: This model uses 20X digital zoom. Digital zoom is a useful comparison point if you want closer framing, but it is different from optical zoom.
- Screen size and movement: The 3.5" 180° flip screen matters if you plan to shoot self-facing content or want easier framing.
- Included storage and power: A 32GB SD card and 2 batteries are included, so check whether that matches what you want from the first use.
- Connectivity and app use: WiFi and the Viipulse app are part of the setup, so check whether you are happy using that phone connection route.
What Else You May Need
If you want to keep shooting for longer, consider whether you may need extra memory cards or additional batteries beyond the included pair. If webcam-style use matters, check that your computer connection and any preferred video-call software suit the setup you plan to use.
