Why Choose Paintball for Your Corporate Event?
Paintball is a brilliant way to bring your team together. The game relies on good communication, cooperation, and trust. Your team will need to work together to achieve victory, which will help build strong relationships and improve teamwork skills.
Develops Leadership Skills
Paintball is perfect for testing and improving leadership skills. During the game, team leaders will need to make quick decisions, delegate tasks, and motivate their teammates. This experience can be incredibly valuable in the workplace, where effective leadership is essential.
Paintball is an excellent stress-reliever! There’s something incredibly satisfying about splattering paint on your friends and colleagues while running around in the great outdoors. Plus, the physical exercise will release endorphins, leaving everyone feeling happier and more relaxed.
Fun for All Ages and Abilities
Paintball is an inclusive activity suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a paintball pro or a complete beginner, everyone can join in the fun. The game can be adapted to suit different fitness levels, making it an ideal choice for a diverse team.
How to Organise the Perfect Corporate Paintball Event
Choose a Venue
This is the easy part. You have already found Yorkshires top paintballing venue. The Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park. We have hosted literally thousands of paintball events since we started in 1988. We have a range of game zones (Or maps as they are called these days), experienced staff, and all the necessary equipment.
Pick a Date and Time
It’s time to choose a date and time for your event. Try to find a date that suits everyone in your team, and make sure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. You’ll also need to decide on the duration of the event. We offer a 90 minute session or a 4hr session if you’re feeling extra adventurous!
Plan Your Budget
Before you book, make sure to plan your budget. If you are on a set budget, then go for the Paintball 90 event. This includes all equipment and paintballs and is a single price. If price is no issue, then go for the Classic Paintball. You can then use as many or as few paintballs as you like.
We are in the heart of Yorkshire, just South of York, you’ll need to organise transport for your team. You could hire a minibus or carshare, just make sure to plan your journey well in advance. Please use our “What three words” address to find us.
Choose Your Game Modes
Now for the fun part – deciding on your corporate paintball event game modes! Talk to the staff on site about game modes you think would suit your group, we will always be happy to help. Ho about Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, or VIP Escort. Speak to your team to find out what they’d most enjoy, and don’t be afraid to mix it up with a few different games.
Send Out Invitations
With everything in place, it’s time to send out your invitations. Make sure to include all the essential details, like date, time, location, and any special instructions (e.g. what to wear, bring a change of clothes). You could even create a fun themed invitation to get everyone excited about the event!
Prepare for the Big Day
In the run-up to your corporate paintball event, make sure everyone is prepared. Remind your team to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and sturdy shoes. It’s also a good idea to bring a change of clothes, as things can get messy on the battlefield! Don’t forget to pack sunscreen and insect repellent in the summer months.
Capture the Memories
You’ll want to remember your awesome paintball event, so make sure to take plenty of photos and videos throughout the day. You could assign a team member to be the official photographer or take turns snapping action shots. After the event, share the photos with your team and reminisce about the epic battles and funny moments. Our staff will be happy to help when it comes to photo’s of your day.
Celebrate Your Victories
After a day of adrenaline-pumping action, it’s time to relax and celebrate your victories. Head to a nearby pub or restaurant for some well-deserved food and drinks, and use this time to bond with your team and discuss the highlights of the day. Who knows, you might even start planning your next paintball adventure! The Drovers Arms is just around the corner and does some fantastic food. It’s the ideal place to recall war stories over food.
