Quick Summary
The Fox EOS 8000 FS is a free spool carp fishing reel with a 300m line capacity for 0.30mm line, a 4.9:1 gear ratio, 5 ball bearings, 1 roller bearing and a stated weight of 444g. It is described as suitable for small waters, stalking and specialist fishing applications.
The free spool system lets fish take line freely on the bite, then switches to the front drag system when the handle is turned. That makes the reel a straightforward choice for anglers who want free spool operation in a carp reel format.
