What to Compare Before Buying
- Size: This pair is sized for 9-10 years, so check that against the child’s measurements and the fit you prefer.
- Weather protection: The trousers are rated waterproof to 3,000mm and breathable at 3,000g. Compare those figures with the conditions you expect them to face.
- Warmth: The fleece lining adds an insulating layer, so consider whether you want a lined trouser rather than a lighter shell.
- Leg opening: The elasticated bottoms help shape the trouser leg, so check that this finish suits the footwear or layering you plan to use.
Before You Decide
Check the 9-10 years size, the black colour and the waterproof and breathability ratings before choosing. The fleece lining and elasticated bottoms are part of the design, so make sure that is the style you want for wet-weather wear.
