Why We Like This Product Reviewed by the YPC Team
At YPC Outdoors, what we like most about this laptop is the balance between power and practicality. The Ryzen 7 7735HS remains a very capable processor, especially when paired with the Radeon 680M graphics, which outperform many older entry level dedicated GPUs.
The 16:10 display makes a real difference for both work and play, giving extra vertical space that improves productivity. We also appreciate the metal chassis and upgrade friendly design, which makes this feel like a system that will remain usable for several years rather than a short term purchase.

Processor and Performance Capability
This laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads with boost speeds up to 4.75GHz. Built on an efficient 6nm Zen architecture, it delivers strong sustained performance for gaming, multitasking and creative workloads.
In real world use, this processor handles heavy browser usage, content creation software, compilation tasks and gaming without the stutters commonly seen on lower power CPUs.
Graphics Performance and Gaming Use
Graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon 680M GPU, which features 12 compute units and is one of the most powerful integrated graphics solutions available.
This allows smooth performance in esports titles, older AAA games and modern games on reduced settings. It is also well suited to video playback, light 3D work and creative applications that benefit from GPU acceleration.
Display Quality and Viewing Experience
The 16 inch display uses a 16:10 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1920 by 1200. This provides approximately 10 percent more vertical space than traditional 16:9 screens, making document work, editing and browsing more comfortable.
Colour coverage is listed as 100 percent sRGB, offering accurate colour reproduction for general creative work and media consumption. The narrow bezel design and stereo speakers contribute to an immersive experience for both gaming and entertainment.
Memory and Storage Configuration
The laptop is equipped with 16GB of DDR5 memory running at 4800MHz in dual channel configuration. This provides excellent bandwidth for gaming and multitasking.
Storage is provided by a 512GB NVMe solid state drive. Additional M.2 slots are listed as available, supporting future expansion up to a higher total capacity, though exact internal configuration should be confirmed at purchase.
Build Quality Portability and Battery Life
The chassis features metal construction on key surfaces, offering improved durability and a more premium feel. Despite the large display and powerful components, weight is listed at approximately 1.85kg, which is reasonable for a performance focused laptop.
Battery capacity is listed as 50.82Wh. Combined with the efficient processor architecture, this supports several hours of mixed use, though gaming workloads will reduce runtime significantly.
Connectivity and Ports
Connectivity includes WiFi 6 support and Bluetooth, providing fast and stable wireless connections.
Physical ports include multiple USB 3.2 ports, a full function USB C port, HDMI output, TF card slot, SD card slot, audio jack and DC power input. This wide port selection makes it easy to connect peripherals, displays and storage without adapters.
Keyboard Camera and Practical Features
The laptop includes a backlit keyboard for comfortable typing in low light environments. A 180 degree hinge allows flexible positioning and easier screen sharing.
A built in front facing camera with a physical privacy switch adds reassurance for video calls and remote working. Audio input and output are suitable for meetings and casual media use.
Operating System and Software
The laptop is supplied with a professional edition operating system. The exact OS version is not specified and should be confirmed at purchase.
Business oriented security and management features are therefore expected but not explicitly defined.
Comparisons With Similar Alternatives
Compared with Intel U and P series laptops, this system offers stronger integrated graphics and better sustained performance.
Against gaming laptops with entry level dedicated GPUs, it trades peak gaming performance for quieter operation and better efficiency.
When compared with thinner ultraportables, it prioritises power and expandability over minimal weight.
Alternatives Worth Considering
Users seeking higher frame rates in modern AAA games should consider laptops with dedicated RTX class graphics.
Those prioritising battery life over performance may prefer lower power processors.
If portability is critical, a smaller 14 inch form factor may be more practical.
Tips on How to Use Correctly
Use balanced or performance power profiles depending on workload.
Ensure adequate ventilation during gaming sessions.
Keep graphics drivers updated for best performance.
Consider adding additional storage early if working with large files.
