Who It Is Best For
This pack suits families, groups and adults who want simple short range communication without relying on mobile signal. It is also a practical choice for children, older users and anyone who wants an easy to use radio for activities such as hiking, boating, fishing, cycling or indoor use.
What To Know Before You Buy
The range depends on the terrain and surroundings, so it should be treated as variable rather than fixed. The radios are described as easy to use, but the VOX function needs a specific activation process and may work best when speaking close to the radio or earpiece. If you are choosing between variations or usage needs, check the selected option carefully before ordering.
Pros: Simple push to talk operation, rechargeable batteries, 16 channels, LED torch and earpieces add useful everyday convenience.
Cons: Range and VOX performance can vary depending on surroundings and how the radios are used.
