The MOMENTPLUS VIE16 is designed for everyday productivity, study, and home or office use where a large screen and smooth multitasking matter. It suits students, remote workers, and small business users who need reliable performance for documents, browsing, video calls, streaming, and general multitasking. The 16 inch display makes it particularly appealing for users who want more screen space without moving to a desktop setup.
Why We Like This Laptop at YPC Outdoors
At YPC Outdoors, we look closely at how laptops perform in real world use rather than just headline claims. What we like here is the balance between memory, storage, and screen size. The Alder Lake N95 processor paired with 16GB of RAM feels responsive for everyday workloads, and the 16 inch 1920 x 1200 display gives noticeably more working space than standard Full HD panels. It feels like a sensible choice for users who want comfort and practicality at a reasonable price point.

Performance in Everyday Use
The Intel Alder Lake N95 processor features four cores and is designed for efficient everyday performance. In daily use, it handles office software, web browsing with multiple tabs, video conferencing, and media playback smoothly. The combination of 16GB DDR4 memory and NVMe storage helps keep the system responsive, even when switching between applications.
Display and Visual Comfort
The 16 inch display runs at a 1920 x 1200 resolution, providing a taller aspect ratio than standard Full HD screens. This makes reading documents, browsing the web, and working on spreadsheets more comfortable with less scrolling. The narrow bezel design helps maximise screen area, while the panel is well suited to both productivity and entertainment.
Keyboard, Audio, and Webcam
The built in backlit keyboard improves visibility in low light environments and is comfortable for extended typing sessions. Dual stereo speakers provide clear sound for calls and streaming. The integrated 2 megapixel webcam delivers clear image quality for video meetings and online learning.
Portability and Battery Life
Despite the larger screen, the laptop remains easy to carry and suitable for moving between rooms or locations. The 6000mAh battery supports everyday mobile use for work or study, with heavier tasks naturally reducing runtime. It is well suited to users who want a balance between screen size and portability.
Connectivity and Ports
This laptop includes a practical selection of ports to cover everyday needs. USB ports support accessories and external drives, HDMI allows connection to external displays, and the Type C port adds flexibility for compatible devices. Wi Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 provide stable wireless connectivity for home and shared environments.
Alternatives Worth Considering
If your needs are different, you may also want to consider:
Intel Core i3 laptops for higher processing performance
Ryzen based laptops for heavier multitasking
Smaller 14 or 15 inch laptops for maximum portability
These options offer different strengths depending on how and where the laptop will be used.
Comparison With Similar Laptops
Compared with older entry level laptops, this model feels noticeably smoother thanks to its higher memory capacity and NVMe storage. Against systems with only 8GB RAM, it offers better multitasking headroom. It focuses on comfortable everyday performance rather than specialist or gaming use.
