Quick Summary
The NEEWER HD 85MM Telephoto Phone Lens LS-59 is a smartphone telephoto lens for use with a compatible 17mm threaded phone cage or case. Who It Is Best For
This lens is best for content creators, mobile filmmakers, photographers, influencers, videographers, and enthusiasts who already use a phone cage system. It suits shoppers who want a telephoto option for portraits, talking head video, wildlife at moderate distance, sports moments, and detail focused landscapes.
What To Know Before You Buy
This lens needs a compatible 17mm threaded lens mount, so it will not suit phones without the right cage or backplate. It is aimed at users who want more controlled reach and a portrait style perspective from a mobile setup.
Pros: The 85mm perspective and 2.5X magnification are useful for portrait style images and video, with secure threaded mounting for consistent alignment.
Cons: It must be paired with a compatible 17mm threaded phone cage or backplate, so it is not a simple clip on lens.
