Quick Summary
The Tamron SPAF 24 to 135 mm F/3.5 to 5.6 AD Aspherical (IF) Macro for Nikon is a versatile standard to telephoto zoom lens for Nikon DSLR cameras. It is designed for everyday photography, portraits, travel, and close up detail work, with a 24 to 135 mm zoom range and close focusing across the full range.
Who It Is Best For
This lens suits photographers who want one practical lens for a wide mix of subjects. It is a good fit for anyone who likes to keep things simple on a Nikon DSLR body and wants the flexibility to move from wider scenes to tighter framing without changing lenses.
What To Know Before You Buy
The variable aperture means it is not aimed at strong low light shooting in the same way as a constant aperture lens. It also does not include image stabilisation, so steady technique matters more in lower light.
Pros: The wide zoom range and close focusing make it useful for everyday shooting and detail work.
Cons: It relies on careful handling in lower light because it does not include image stabilisation.
