Quick Summary
The VILTROX AF 9mm F2.8 Air is an ultra wide angle autofocus lens for Nikon Z mount APS C cameras. It is built for expansive views, making it a strong choice for interiors, architecture, landscapes, group photos, and vlogging. The 113.8 degree field of view gives you a very wide perspective in a compact, portable design.
Who It Is Best For
This lens suits vloggers, travel photographers, content creators, and street shooters who want a wide view without carrying bulky kit. It is also a practical option for handheld video and tight indoor spaces where you need to include more of the scene in one frame.
What To Know Before You Buy
This is a prime lens, so it gives you one fixed focal length rather than zoom flexibility. The f2.8 aperture is useful, but it is not intended for strong background blur. If you are choosing it for a specific camera body, check that your selected camera uses Nikon Z mount APS C format.
Pros: Ultra wide coverage, autofocus support, and a lightweight portable design make it convenient for wide angle shooting.
Cons: As a fixed focal length lens, it will not suit buyers who want variable framing from a zoom.
