What to Compare Before Buying
- Size: The stated size is 9-10 years, so check the child’s current fit needs rather than relying on age alone.
- Weather resistance: The pants have Durable Water Repellent treatment, so compare this with the level of protection you want for skiing or wet conditions.
- Warmth: The fleece lining is relevant if you want an extra warm layer under outerwear.
- Snow protection: Snow gaiters help limit snow entry, which is useful if that matters in your chosen conditions.
- Wear protection: Scuff guards are worth checking if the lower leg area takes regular rubbing.
Before You Decide
Confirm the size 9-10 years is the right fit for the child, and check whether the softshell build, fleece lining and snow gaiters match the conditions you expect. The pants are black and PFC-free, with scuff guards at the ankle area.
