Quick Summary
The Underalert Shoulder Strap Pad is a Velcro-fitted shoulder pad for use with plate carriers, backpack straps, waist belts, chest rigs, duffel bags, travel backpacks and weighted vests. It is presented as an adjustable strap padding option for reducing pressure across the shoulders during carry.
The pad also includes webbing retainers, which are described as suitable for routing hydration straws or antenna cables. That makes the layout more practical when you want the strap area to stay organised while you carry kit.

What to Compare Before Buying
- Attachment method: This pad uses Velcro, so the strap or belt needs to suit that fastening style.
- Equipment type: It is positioned for plate carriers, backpack straps, waist belts, chest rigs, duffel bags, travel backpacks and weighted vests, so compare it with the item you plan to use it on.
- Routing needs: If you want to guide a hydration straw or antenna cable, check that the webbing retainers suit your setup.
- Padding style: The pad is meant to add cushioning under load, so consider whether you want shoulder-only padding or a different load-bearing arrangement.
Before You Decide
Confirm that the Velcro fastening suits the strap or belt you want to use it on, and check that the item matches your gear type before choosing an offer. If you need cable or hydration routing, make sure the webbing retainers are part of the configuration you want.
