Quick Summary
This is a micro SD to PSP Memory Stick PRO Duo adapter for use with Playstation Portable, Sony camera and handycam devices. It is presented as a way to replace a Memory Stick PRO Duo with a microSD card, and the stated compatibility includes MagicGate Memory Stick DUO and Memory Stick PRO Duo.
What to Compare Before Buying
- Device compatibility: Check that your PSP, camera or handycam uses Memory Stick PRO Duo format and matches the intended use of the adapter.
- Card support: The stated compatibility includes microSD, SDHC and SDXC cards up to 64GB, so compare that with the card you plan to use.
- First use: The adapter is intended to be formatted in the device before first use, so allow for that setup step.
- Format requirement: Make sure your device accepts the Memory Stick PRO Duo style connection before choosing it.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
The adapter is described for PSP 1000, 2000 and 3000 models, together with Sony camera and handycam devices. The key check is whether your device expects a Memory Stick PRO Duo or MagicGate Memory Stick DUO type card, because that determines whether this adapter is the right fit.
Before You Decide
Confirm that your device uses Memory Stick PRO Duo format, check the stated card support against the microSD card you want to use, and note that first-time setup includes formatting the card in the device. If you need a different memory card format, choose another option.
